Winnipeg police say a man is in stable condition after he was shot outside a home on Manitoba Avenue Wednesday morning.
Police said they were called to the home in the 600 block of Manitoba Avenue at 1:40 a.m., where they found a man with injuries consistent with being shot.
Police said the man was outside when another man confronted him with a handgun and shot him. The suspect ran away and the man was taken to hospital in critical condition. He has since been upgraded to stable.
The investigation is continuing by the Major Crimes Unit.
