Help Winnipeg Harvest Freeze Hunger as Eskimos Come to Town

By Brian Schultz

Winnipeg HarvestWinnipeg Blue Bomber fans headed to Thursday’s game are being asked to bring a non-perishable food item for Winnipeg Harvest.

The Safeway Food Drive runs until July 20 and donations will go directly to the local food bank to stock their shelves until the fall.

Fans can also make a monetary donation of $5 or $10 to purchase a Safeway food hamper.

Harvest volunteers will be outside of Investors Group Field prior to kickoff at 7:30 p.m. against the Edmonton Eskimos to collect donations.
