Manitoba Woman Struck, Killed by Brush Cutter

RCMP Crest LogoA 57-year-old woman died Thursday after being run over by a brush cutter.

RCMP say the accident happened just before 4 p.m. in the RM of Shellmouth, Manitoba.

The woman was operating an open cab tractor towing the cutter at the time when she fell out and was struck. She was pronounced deceased on scene.

Manitoba Workplace Safety and Health is assisting with the investigation.

No foul play is suspected and the woman’s name isn’t being released.
