Public consultations for a future mixed-use development at The Forks are planned for this week.
Open houses on a preliminary concept plan for the piece of land known as Parcel 4, as well as Rail Side, will be held on Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. A second open house is scheduled for Saturday, July 26 from noon to 3 p.m.
The plan encompasses nearly 12 acres of land currently used for surface parking.
Representatives from the City of Winnipeg and The Forks North Portage will be on hand to discuss plans with members of the public in the centre court of The Forks.
