Brandon RCMP had to move a herd of cattle off the Trans-Canada Highway on Wednesday after several made it onto the road.
The livestock got loose in the RM of Cypress about 30 km east of Brandon near Camp Hughes.
Police determined the animals were able to free because two 4′ x 12′ blue metal tube gates were stolen from a pasture, which released the cattle to wander.
