July 28, 2014 3:01 PM | News

RCMP Crest LogoA 28-year-old man from Flin Flon was killed on Saturday after a single-vehicle crash on Highway 392.

Snow Lake RCMP responded just after 11 a.m. to the Snow Creek bridge, where they found the vehicle on the east side of the highway below.

Police say the vehicle was travelling southbound at the time when the crash occurred.

Two men were found inside the vehicle. The Flin Flon man was pronounced deceased at the scene, while the 26-year-old driver — also from Flin Flon — was taken to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Alcohol has not yet been ruled out as a contributing factor.

Police say the driver was wearing a seatbelt, while the deceased man was not.

The investigation into the crash is continuing.
