Rehabilitation of the Portage Avenue Bridge over Sturgeon Creek will close the south lanes of traffic beginning Monday.
The city is entering the second phase of construction and will reopen the north lanes the same day.
Starting at 10 a.m., two-way traffic will be diverted from the south lanes to the north lanes of the structure which have been closed since the middle of April. Rehabilitation work will begin immediately on the eastbound bridge deck.
The project is expected to be completed by early November.
