Teens Charged After Woman Stabbed, Robbed in North End

Winnipeg Police CrestTwo teens have been charged after police say they stabbed a woman and robbed her Monday evening in Winnipeg’s North End.

A 21-year-old woman was approached at around 9:45 p.m. in the area of Manitoba Avenue and Parr Street.

Winnipeg police say the suspects, a 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old girl, physically assaulted and stabbed the victim multiple times before robbing her of personal property.

The suspects fled, but were tracked by the canine unit to the area of the 700 block of Dufferin Avenue. A knife and the victim’s property were recovered.

The victim is in stable condition and the suspects were detained at the Manitoba Youth Centre. They face charges of aggravated assault and robbery.
