Charges have been laid in a fatal pedestrian crash that killed one man and injured two other people near Minnedosa early Monday morning.
RCMP say Christopher Palaschuk, 39, is facing impaired driving charges after his vehicle drove into a 44-year-old man, 25-year-old man and 23-year-old woman near the entrance of the Minnedosa Rock in the Fields music festival on Monday morning.
The 25-year-old from Minnedosa later died in hospital from his injuries.
The 23-year-old Minnedosa woman was treated in hospital and released. The 44-year-old Winnipeg man was treated at the scene.
Palaschuk appeared in Minnedosa Provincial Court on Tuesday. His next court appearance is Thursday.
