The Louise Bridge will completely close to all traffic and pedestrians this weekend.
The City of Winnipeg will be carrying out maintenance on the structure beginning Saturday at 6 a.m. until Sunday at 6 p.m.
Motorists are advised to allow for additional travel time and to use alternate routes in the area to reach their destination.
Transit riders are asked to check schedules for detour information or call 311.
The city also announced lane closures on the Norwood Bridge from Saturday, August 9 to Thursday, August 14 due to construction.
From Saturday, August 9 to Monday, August 11, the southbound curb lane will be closed. On Tuesday, August 12 to Thursday, August 14, the southbound middle lane on the Norwood Bridge will be closed.
