A medevac plane stationed in Oxford House, Manitoba is out of commission after being vandalized.
RCMP say someone broke into the airplane hangar on Oxford House First Nation early Wednesday and emptied a fire extinguisher into the medical evacuation aircraft. The culprits also stole emergency bags from the site.
The plane is out of service until it can be cleaned and mechanically inspected.
The emergency bags that were stolen contained medical items, including medications. Police say they could cause a health emergency is used incorrectly.
