Passengers travelling on Via Rail from Churchill to Winnipeg on Friday will have a 10-hour delay.
The railway says due to operational issues, train #692 will be departing Churchill tomorrow at 5:30 a.m. The train will be operating 10 hours late all along its route to Winnipeg.
Via is communicating with customers who have reservations on the affected train.
Customers wishing to cancel or change their date of travel may do so at no additional charge by calling 1-888-VIA-RAIL (1-888-842-7245) or 1-800-268-9503 (hearing impaired).
UPDATE: Train #692 will depart at midnight on Friday, operating 4.5 hours late.
