The Winnipeg Blue Bombers have added international wide receiver Kemonte’ Bateman and international offensive lineman Chad Anderson to their practice roster.
Bateman signed with the Edmonton Eskimos in September of last season, and was released during the offseason. The Los Angeles native, 24, recorded 78 receptions for 1,121 yards and nine touchdowns. Prior to his time in Edmonton, Bateman was with the NFL’s Denver Broncos.
Anderson, 22, most recently spent time with the Indianapolis Colts. His college career at Northern Michigan saw him red-shirted in 2009, and begin his on-field NCAA career in 2010 as redshirt freshman. The Michigan native saw action in three games in 2010 before becoming a regular O-Line starter in 2011.
