A 15-year-old boy thrown from his ATV near Dauphin was run over by a car on Thursday night.
RCMP were called to Highway 20 about three kilometres east of Dauphin at around 9:30 p.m.
Police say the teen lost control and was lying on the roadway when an eastbound vehicle struck him.
He was taken to hospital for his injuries. Alcohol is also believed to be a factor.
The 45-year-old Dauphin woman driving the car, along with her passenger, weren’t injured.
Police continue to investigate.
