Football fans can watch this weekend’s Labour Day Classic on a giant outdoor screen at The Forks.
As part of the Prairie Barge Festival, the game will be shown on Sunday at 3 p.m. when the Blue Bombers take on the Saskatchewan Roughriders in Regina.
“The Blue Bombers are thrilled to be included in such exciting and diverse programming, and look forward to being able to celebrate the Labour Day Classic and cheer on our Bombers in this unique atmosphere,” said Jason Smith, VP of events with the Blue Bombers. “We invite all our fans to come down and join the fun.”
The Prairie Barge Festival begins Friday and includes musical performances by Manitoba and Saskatchewan artists. Admission is free to the family-friendly event.
