CentreVenture President Ross McGowan to Retire

CentreVenture Development CorporationThe president and CEO of an agency tasked with helping to revitalize Winnipeg’s downtown is set to retire.

CentreVenture’s Ross McGowan told the board of directors he plans to retire in December. CentreVenture will now start looking for a replacement who will hopefully be in place before the end of the year.

“Ross is a very strong leader, and the Board is grateful for his innumerable contributions and his distinguished tenure as President & CEO over the last eight years,” said Curt Vossen, chairman of the board. “The Board is committed to ensuring that the new leadership will continue to be results driven, sharing the same passion and integrity to continue the outstanding work accomplished by Ross and staff.”
