The finalists in this year’s Winnipeg Top Cop community volunteer awards have been announced.
Marking the third annual event and gala, the finalists are Det. Sgt. Adrian May, Const. Leon DeCaire, and Const. Cory Wiles.
“Our nominees this year were genuine examples of the men and women who go above and beyond their role as police officers,” said event co-chair Bruce Berven.
Individual tickets to the dinner are $125 each and a table of 10 can be purchased for $1,500. Proceeds from the event will go to charities supported by the Kiwanis Club of Winnipeg, as well as local charities represented by the three nominated police officers.
The Top Cop winner will be announced on November 14 at The Fairmont Winnipeg.
