Lighthouse Mission Celebrates Newly-Installed Kitchen

Lighthouse MissionA new kitchen means one of Winnipeg’s shelters will be able to better serve some of the city’s most vulnerable people.

Lighthouse Mission on Main Street will be celebrating the installation of their new kitchen over the summer, and will provide free Booster Juice and homemade baking for all their patrons.

The kitchen was made possible through partnerships with Project Echo, various fundraisers and local tradespeople donating their time and materials. The kitchen was installed at the mission over the summer.

About 200 people use the soup kitchen at the mission daily.
