Winnipeg police have arrested a man in the death of Jeffery Campbell.
Police said Campbell, 25, and the accused were both in a rooming house on Austin Street North when they got into a fight early Monday morning. The accused, who police said had been consuming drugs, armed himself with a knife and stabbed Campbell several times.
Emergency personnel were called to the house at 5 a.m and Campbell was taken to hospital where he later died.
Police caught up with the suspect just before midnight on Tuesday near Bannatyne Avenue and Lydia Street.
Michael Tyler John Boubard, 21, has been charged with second degree murder.
