Several Arrested as Winnipeg Police Raid Gang-Related House

Winnipeg Police CrestWinnipeg police said four people have gone to jail after a home was raided in Transcona on Wednesday.

Police said they started a drug investigation into the African Mafia street gang in July and on Wednesday, they raided a house in the 300 block of Regent Avenue West at about 6:45 p.m. Inside, they arrested two men and two women and found:

Six ounces of crack cocaine worth $10,800
Three ounces of marihuana worth $840
Fourteen rocks of crack cocaine worth $280.00
$2275 in Canadian cash, and $55 USD

Ahmed Eyale, 23, Sabrin Mahmue Jemei, 21, Mourad Mohamed, 20, and Ruta Tesfalidet, 24 have all been arrested and charged with numerous drug-related offenses. They have been detained.
