Scanterbury Man in Hospital After Assault in Selkirk

RCMP Crest LogoA 23-year-old Scanterbury man is recovering in a Winnipeg hospital after being assaulted in Selkirk early Saturday.

RCMP were called to the 200 block of Manitoba Avenue at around 2 a.m. for a report of an assault between several people.

Police say multiple people had been injured by a weapon, including the 23-year-old victim, who is listed in stable condition.

No further details have been released and police are continuing to investigate.
