Two people are facing charges after Winnipeg police raided a home in the 1400 block of Elgin Avenue on Friday.
Officers executed a search warrant as part of a drug investigation at around 3 p.m. and found two kg of crystal meth, six ounces of cocaine, two kg of a cutting agent, and approximately $44,000 in cash. The estimated value of the combined drugs is $122,800.
Police also found packaging materials and scales.
While officers were on the scene, two residents of the home arrived and were arrested.
A 25-year-old man and 22-year-old woman both face numerous drug-related charges and were released on promises to appear.
