The summer-like weather may be coming to an end, but that doesn’t mean camping has to.

Manitoba’s parks remain open for business and the province is encouraging people to take advantage of its campsites and numerous interpretive programs.

Several provincial park campgrounds, group-use areas, cabins and yurts remain available throughout the fall season. Some campgrounds remain open as late as Thanksgiving.

Park interpreters also offer fall programming in Birds Hill, Spruce Woods and Whiteshell provincial parks free of charge.

To reserve a campsite, group-use area, cabin or yurt, visit prspub.gov.mb.ca or call 1-888-482-2267 or (204) 948-3333 in Winnipeg.
