There are now 10 candidates running to be Winnipeg’s next mayor.
Buck Duchene quietly entered the race on Friday and media began picking up on the news over the weekend.
The married father of two is a landlord and point-of-purchase clerk. He says he’s a “blue collar” candidate without many of the resources of the more well-known candidates, but says he brings great ideas to the table.
Duchene said his three main priorities will be accountability, infrastructure and flood control.
