Polo Park Shopping Centre (TOURISM WINNIPEG)
Job seekers will get the chance to rub shoulders with perspective employers on Thursday at Polo Park’s annual job fair.
The shopping centre has many opportunities available at the mall’s newest retailers. Polo Park is also teaming up with Youth Employment Services (Y.E.S.) this year to provide youth with tips and key skills interviewers look for in potential applicants.
“We have some exciting new retailers new to market this fall. This is one day a year that you can meet face to face with store representatives to discuss career opportunities,” said Deborah Green, the mall’s general manager. “It’s a great way to gain immediate insight into the store’s culture as well as get some feedback on how you can improve your resume.”
Upwards of 30 retailers are involved with this year’s job fair, including some of the new to market retailers like Fossil and Tommy Gun’s. Interested participants are encouraged to bring several printed resumes.
The job fair runs from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. tomorrow in centre court.
