Full-time student attendance at Red River College is up 4.3% this fall compared to last year.
RRC says this year’s increases include culinary arts (up 23%), hospitality and tourism management (up 52%), automotive technician (up 78%), intro to trades (up 76%), precision metal manufacturing (up 216%), and cabinetry and woodworking technology (up 21%).
Attendance in construction management, nursing, and access nursing degree programs saw an increase in overall attendance by 4.7%.
The college said attendance will fluctuate over the next few weeks as figures from Continuing Education programs, regional campuses and apprenticeship programs are tabulated.
