A feast for the masses tonight will toast Manitoba farmers and raise money for a charity as part of an annual gourmet dinner.
The sixth annual Farmers’ Feast is in support of Food Matters Manitoba and is being put on in partnership with the St. Norbert Farmers’ Market.
Local producers will be celebrated with chefs from Elements: The Restaurant, Prairie 360, Chocolatier Constance Popp, and others.
Chef Ben Kramer of Elements will be working closely with Nature’s Farm to ensure that the ingredients in his Manitoba gourmet spaetzle are fresh and local.
Tickets are still available and run $100 each. A $35 tax receipt will be provided. Those who bring their own wing glass save $5.
Dinner runs 6:30-9:30 p.m. rain or shine at the St. Norbert Farmers’ Market site. Visit FarmersFeastManitoba.com for more details.
