The Winnipeg Blue Bombers signed veteran receiver Clarence Denmark to a contract extension through 2016.
Denmark is in his fourth season with the Bombers, and is currently ranked second in the CFL for receiving yardage with 646.
“This organization has been so good to me since I first got into the CFL in 2011,” Denmark said in a statement. “The way the franchise is operating now, with the people from the top down, there is such a positive and professional atmosphere and vibe for us as players, and I am very glad to continue being a part of that.”
Denmark is also the Bombers’ leading active receiver and has hauled in 225 passes for 2,985 yards and 11 touchdowns during his time with the Blue and Gold.
The Bombers are in B.C. Saturday to face the Lions before their bye week. The next home game is September 27 against Hamilton.
