The St. Norbert Farmers’ Market wants area residents to get to know their three city council candidates.
On Saturday, Joe Chan, Janice Lukes and Sachit Mehra will speak near the Stage On The Grass in the heritage area on the south side of the market beginning at 10 a.m.
The three will then greet prospective voters until around noon.
The market will be open as usual with its locally-produced products and other Manitoba fare. Live music will follow candidates’ speeches by local jazz group, the Grace Hrabi Trio.
