WBYO Dreams Film FestivalYoung filmmakers from West Broadway Youth Outreach (WBYO) will walk the red carpet at the Winnipeg Art Gallery on Saturday.

More than 20 youth are taking part in the WBYO Dreams Film Festival and will premiere their short film alongside award-winning filmmakers from around the world.

“It’s amazing to see our kids get excited about their future careers and who they will be when they grow up,” said Ken Opaleke, WBYO director. “We find something they’re interested in and match them with a mentor who inspires and encourages them to reach their infinite potential.”

Dreams is a career mentorship program that provides youth with the opportunity to explore the infinite possibilities their future holds.

The festival is open to the public. Tickets are $15 and can be purchased through Eventbrite. Doors open at 7 p.m. and an art auction will follow the screening.
