Winnipeg police are looking for a man after a woman was sexually assaulted in the Point Douglas area Sunday morning.
Police say the 25-year-old victim was walking eastbound Euclid Street at around 5:30 a.m. when she was approached by a man on a bike. The suspect struck up a conversation with the woman before allegedly sexually assaulting her in the area of Barber Street and Prince Edward Street.
He fled on his bicycle and police were called.
The victim was taken to hospital in stable condition.
The suspect is described as aboriginal in appearance, between 30-40 years of age, 5’6” tall with a medium build and long black wavy hair. He was wearing dark coloured clothing and was riding a red bicycle with no seat.
