FIFAFans planning to take in the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 have been making a strong statement by snapping up passport ticket packages in record amounts.

Winnipeg is one of the host cities in the tournament next June, where several matches will be played at Investors Group Field.

“There has been terrific momentum leading up to our on-sale date, so it is great to see how Canadians have really embraced the competition through the purchase of stadium passports, stadium half passes and tickets to the final match,” said Peter Montopoli, CEO for the National Organizing Committee.

Winnipeg pricing is as follows:

4 tickets (7 matches)

  • Category 4 – $95
  • Category 3 – $130
  • Category 2 – $200
  • Category 1 – $260

The first phase of ticket sales for the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015 runs now through December 5, all in advance of the official draw. A second phase also featuring stadium passports and stadium half passes will commence on December 6 after the official draw when the schedule and venues become known for all 24 participating nations.

The third phase featuring individual tickets will launch in the first quarter of 2015 while the fourth phase featuring on-site ticketing box offices will launch in the month before the competition kicks off on June 6, 2015.
