Body Pulled from Red River Near Lockport

RCMP Crest LogoRCMP pulled the body of a man from the Red River near Lockport, Manitoba on Thursday afternoon.

Police say the body was discovered at around 2 p.m. just north of the community.

The incident is not part of the ongoing Drag the Red efforts, police say.

The age and identity of the deceased isn’t yet known due to the affects of the water.

No further details are available.
