The province’s 54th full-service Liquor Mart will open in Sage Creek next summer.
Manitoba Liquor and Lotteries says the growing south Winnipeg neighbourhood was an obvious choice for its latest expansion.
“Over the last few years there has been tremendous residential and commercial development in Sage Creek,” said Robert Holmberg, vice-president of liquor operations. “The addition of a Liquor Mart will not only complement the retail growth in this emerging area, it will provide residents with the convenience of shopping close to home.”
The 9,000 sq. ft. Sage Creek location will be located at 50 Sage Creek Boulevard and situated in a retail centre that is anchored by regional grocer Sobeys.
