You may want to take note of these two street closures this weekend surrounding the Children’s Hospital and Dugald Road.
Beginning Saturday at 7 a.m., the city will close William Avenue between Sherbrook Street and the Children’s Hospital emergency entrance west of Sherbrook Street.
The closure is to accommodate crane work on construction projects in the area. Access to the Children’s Hospital emergency entrance will be maintained.
The roadway will reopen at 6 p.m. the same day.
On Sunday, the westbound lane on Dugald Road between Symington Road and Goodyear Avenue will be closed to all traffic at 7 a.m. to accommodate water main repairs. Traffic will be maintained in both directions using flag persons.
Motorists are advised to allow additional travel time and to use alternate routes in this area to reach their destinations.
