The Winnipeg Goldeyes have released right-handed pitchers Kaohi Downing and Barry Fowler, while left-handed Ryan Bollinger has been traded back to the Can-Am League’s Trois-Rivieres Aigles.
Bollinger becomes the player to be named later in the deal in which Winnipeg acquired him on August 15. He was 3-0 with a 6.00 ERA in four starts with the Goldeyes.
American Association teams have until November 10 to exercise their option on players for the 2015 season.
