WAG Pulling an All-Nighter for Nuit Blanche

Nuit BlancheThe Winnipeg Art Gallery is again hosting an all-night affair surrounding Nuit Blanche this Saturday, September 27.

The WAG is highlighting the public opening of two exhibitions, featuring works by Salvador Dali: Dali Up Close, as well as the celebrated photographs taken in collaboration with Philippe Halsman, and Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery.

The WAG will open at 7 p.m. on Saturday and the party won’t wrap up until 4 a.m. on Sunday.

“Nuit Blanche Winnipeg brings an incredible vibe and energy to the city and the WAG,” said director and CEO Dr. Stephen Borys. “It’s wonderful to see the variety of people that attend and take in the various events. The WAG is excited to once again host such a fantastic line up this year, this time featuring major work by Salvador Dali, for the first time in Winnipeg.”

Winnipeg’s Contemporary Dancers will perform Random Acts of Dance, MEMETIC Roaring 2020s will bring electronic-swing, balkan beats, and world tribal dubs, while projecting visuals, and DJ Colin Shots will perform on the rooftop.
