Winnipeg’s homeless are being treated to a free shopping spree in the Exchange District as the cooler weather rolls around.

Called The Street Store — Winnipeg Free Style event, Old Market Square will house the free sidewalk shopping experience on Saturday, October 4.

Organizers have partnered with Siloam Mission to curate the store and will be accepting donations in advance of the event. See Street Store’s Facebook page for a list of drop-off locations.
