The Winnipeg Art Gallery saw more than 4,000 visitors take in its new exhibition in the first 24 hours last weekend.
Dali Up Close and Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery opened at the WAG in conjunction with Nuit Blanche on September 27.
Museum officials say the opening set an attendance record for the showing of its 125 artworks spread over 10,000-square-feet.
Part of that success can be contributed to the WAG’s free admission for its annual all-night celebration of the arts as part of Culture Days.
Both exhibitions run until January 25, 2015.
