Winnipeg radio host Chrissy Troy began selling pink perogies on Wednesday — creating a unique take on the originating Eastern Europe dumpling in support of a worthy cause.
Dyed with beet juice to give them their pink hue, listeners can pick up a dozen for $10 from 1445 Pembina Highway between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. on weekdays.
Proceeds will go to the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation for Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
Troy is the co-host of “The Ace Burpee Show” on 103.1 Virgin Radio.
