FIFA officials will be in Winnipeg on Saturday for a site visit ahead of the FIFA Women’s World Cup Canada 2015.
Joined by the local organizing committee, officials will tour Investors Group Field and inspect the venue for the tournament.
Winnipeg is one of several Canadian host cities where matches will be played next year.
Saturday will also be the first time the tournament’s trophy will be in Winnipeg for the media to capture.
Ticket packages are still on sale, with the third phase of individual tickets being made available during the first quarter of 2015.
