Travellers using Winnipeg’s James Richardson International Airport can now pre-book and pre-pay for parking spaces online.
The Winnipeg Airports Authority has launched an online booking system where travellers can select the lot they want to park in, and the duration of their stay.
“We wanted to offer our customers an easy and convenient way to book their parking space when they are travelling from the Winnipeg Richardson International Airport,” said Scott Marohn, WAA director of air service and product development. “We hope this new system will remove some of the stress associated with parking, by giving travellers the cost up front and guaranteeing them a space in the parking lot of their choice.”
Upon arrival at the airport, the parking gate will recognize the credit card number used for the booking and give motorists access to the parkade.
