Winnipeg Man Facing Impaired Driving Charges

RCMP Crest LogoA Winnipeg man was pulled over and is facing charges after RCMP say he was impaired and driving erratically on Highway 2.

Police were called out at around 7:45 p.m. on Sunday to the area near Treherne, Manitoba.

The driver showed signs of impairment and was arrested at the scene.

Patrick Gavin, 30, has been charged with impaired driving of a motor vehicle, failing to comply with a demand made for the purpose of enabling a breath sample, resisting arrest and causing mischief under $5,000.

He was released on a promise to appear in Portage la Prairie court on November 17.
