A 25-year-old woman wasn’t injured after a man allegedly groped her on the Slaw Rebchuk Bridge Tuesday night.
Winnipeg police say the victim was walking southbound over the bridge at around 8:15 p.m. when an unknown man asked her for a cigarette.
When the woman declined, the man followed her attempting to engage in a conversation.
After asking to be left alone, the woman was groped in the upper and lower body. She was able to defend herself and the man fled the area.
The suspect is described as a black man with a medium complexion, in his early 20s, 5’8” tall, slim build, wearing dark clothing and carrying a single strap black duffle bag over his shoulder.
