Work on the south half of the Nairn Avenue overpass will be completed by Tuesday.
The city says the major milestone of the project opens the southbound lanes over the Canadian Pacific Railway tracks. Work on the final stages is still commencing.
Beginning at 10 a.m., one lane in each direction will be open on the overpass and completion work at the Grey Street and Watt Street/Archibald Street intersections will begin.
Construction on the project is expected to be complete by early November.
