A two-vehicle crash just east of Altona, Manitoba Thursday afternoon has claimed the life of a man from the RM of Rhineland.
The accident happened at around 3:30 p.m. when a pickup truck travelling southbound on Road 3E collided with a minivan travelling east on Road 8NE.
RCMP say the crash occurred at an uncontrolled intersection.
The 46-year-old man driving the minivan was pronounced deceased at the scene. His passenger, a 17-year-old female, along with the 21-year-old Greta man driving the pickup, were taken to hospital with undetermined injuries.
Alcohol is not considered a factor and police are continuing to investigate.
