The Winnipeg Art Gallery’s black-tie Ball on Saturday is officially sold out.
Those lucky enough to secure a ticket will dine on delectable cuisine and dessert, take in live and silent auctions and listen to musical entertainment by soul and funk band The Solutions.
Proceeds from the event are supporting youth programs, allowing children to visit the WAG. One ticket to the ball enables 43 kids to visit the downtown art gallery.
The WAG is featuring two new fall blockbuster exhibitions, Dali Up Close and Masterworks from the Beaverbrook Art Gallery, as well as a new installation, Vienna, by award-winning contemporary artist Brian Jungen.
