Members of 17 Wing Winnipeg will depart today to lend their assistance to security forces in Iraq.
Operation IMPACT is the Canadian Armed Forces’ contribution to coalition assistance in the country, who are fighting against the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL).
CAF members and their families will say their goodbyes just before 3 p.m.
