Assiniboine Park Zoo Throwing Halloween Festivities

A weekend full of “spooktacular” festivities will get visitors to Assiniboine Park Zoo ready for Halloween.

On Friday, October 24 through Sunday, October 26, the zoo will present a Halloween Weekend Spooktacular, filled with special Halloween-themed events and activities.

Zoo visitors arriving in costume save 25% off regular zoo admission for all three days.

What’s happening:

Creepy Creatures Zoo Keeper Talks
10 a.m. — The Bat Cave (Kinsmen Discovery Centre)
12 p.m. — Wild Wolves (Journey to Churchill)
2 p.m. — Slithering Snakes (Toucan Ridge)

There will also be a spooky scavenger hunt throughout the zoo and “spooky snacks” at the Tundra Grill.

Winston, the Assiniboine Park Zoo mascot, will be making appearances on Saturday and Sunday at the zoo entrance from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in his Halloween costume.

Hours for the zoo this weekend are daily from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
