Hosts and teams of Hockey Manitoba’s 100th Anniversary Outdoor Series can now register for the event taking place on February 15, 2015.
More than 35 communities are estimated to host an outdoor series event with over 300 teams and nearly 4,000 participants province-wide.
Minor hockey associations who host a series or have teams participating in the series will be eligible for $25,000 in Scotiabank Community Hockey Grants.
Each location will be required to host a minimum of eight teams and four games throughout the day with various male and female age divisions and categories.
Team registration is $29 per player based on their official 2014-15 roster size, which will include a 100th anniversary commemorative jersey made by CCM along with matching socks and a commemorative puck. Teams registering before November 14 will be entered to win a $1000 CCM equipment prize courtesy of Hockey Manitoba.
Feature games will be hosted by Hockey Manitoba throughout December and January leading up to the celebration day on February 15.
